This track kicks some serious ass. I tweaked the mix a bit. Solos by the late Jerome Richardson on Flute, Jerry Hey on Flugelhorn and the incomparable Pete Christlieb on Tenor Sax....plus Louis Johnson on bass ...... the only player I've ever heard playing electric bass in a big band and making it happen.
At the center, one of the truly greats in music, Quincy Jones.
